About CMCC The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) is a unique
institution, founded in 1945 by chiropractors for chiropractors. Our founders
envisioned a Canadian institution that would offer an excellent education, be a
catalyst for developing a unified profession, conduct research to further the
scientific basis of chiropractic, become the home for knowledge related to
chiropractic, and be the face of the profession to governments, third party
payers, and the general public.
Who We Are Located in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada, CMCC is a world leader in chiropractic education and research.
We are a fully accredited, professional educational institution with
approximately 200 faculty and staff, 700 students, and more than 5,000 alumni
who practise in every Canadian province and in 34 countries around the world.
CMCC receives no direct government funding and relies on membership, tuition and
donations for support.
What We Do CMCC educates chiropractors with
a four-year professional program leading to a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)
degree, plus advanced and specialized Graduate Studies, and Continuing Education
courses for practicing chiropractics. We conduct research that is recognized
worldwide for its contribution to chiropractic and to health care. We provide
chiropractic care for patients in our teaching clinics throughout the Greater
Toronto Area. We support practicing chiropractors with the knowledge, resources
and services to help their businesses thrive, and we advocate to influence
education and health care policies that affect chiropractors. |
