Initially established by the government of British Columbia in 1981, Kwantlen,
now Kwantlen Polytechnic University, has four campuses located in the Metro
Vancouver region of British Columbia. Kwantlen offers bachelor's degrees,

than 17,000 students annually attend Kwantlen campuses in Surrey, Richmond and
Langley. A new campus, the Trades and Technology Centre, opened April 2007 and
significant expansion is occurring at the Surrey Campus over the next two years.
