About New Skills College
New Skills Health College (formerly New Skills
Vocational School) is a recognized leader in training Health Care Personnel. A
registered and approved Private Career College with the Ministry of Training,
Colleges and Universities, N.S.H.C. has been delivering a Provincially
recognized Certified Health Care Aide Program in various locations throughout
Ontario since 1981, with over 300 graduates each year.
Due to changes in
legislation regarding the training of health care workers in the Province of
Ontario, the former Certified Health Care Aide Program was replaced by the
Personal Support Worker Program as of September 1, 1997. N.S.H.C. is now
delivering the standardized curriculum.
N.S.H.C. is a member of both the
National and Ontario Associations of Career Colleges. We are recognized trainers
for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and, Human Resource Skills
Development Canada. |
