About SIAST
The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology
(SIAST) is Saskatchewan s primary public institution for skills training and
technical education, recognized nationally and
internationally.
Approximately 13,000 students are enrolled in our
programs and we draw more than 31,000 additional individual registrations. About
40 per cent of our students come directly from high school or other
post-secondary institutions and roughly 60 per cent come from the
workplace.
We offer approximately 160 programs in a variety of
high-demand fields, and we also provide training to apprentices in almost 30
trades. With over 95 per cent of SIAST graduates consistently rating their
overall program quality experience as good to excellent, we know that our
emphasis of providing students with real-life learning contributes to their
academic and career success |
