Metropolitan University College organizes an extensive number of student and teacher exchanges, both for study periods and work placements; some organized and supported by Lifelong Learning Programme. ´

Globalisation & Internationalisation
The departments at Metropolitan University College are experienced in the field of internationalisation. Several of the departments have been involved in major projects funded by The European Union, The European Commission, the European Centre for Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP), The European Training Foundation (ETF), DG SANCO, the Health and Consumer Protection Directorate of the European Commission etc.; as well as development projects funded by national bodies, such as Danish Development Assistance (Danida), Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Health and Prevention. These activities are based on experience and expertise generated through cooperation with educational partners from all over the world.

Research & Development
Every single department contributes to innovation and development of the respective professions through research and development projects. By cooperating with public and private sectors as well as established research communities, both domestic and abroad, Metropolitan University College hope to become one of the leading institutions in the fields of welfare state services in Denmark.

Examples of such activities are projects in the fields of education, learning and social work, developing health and nutrition politics, rehabilitative practices with local social authorities, or designing laboratory technology for the medical sector.
