Education programmes at graduate / bachelor level
UCC provides professional bachelor degrees in the fields of:

Teacher education
- Social education
- Nursing
- Physiotherapy

Relaxation and psychomotor therapy
- Textile and handicraft design
- Sign
language interpretation.
Common to our bachelor degrees is a high level
of integration between theory and practice in coherent educational programmes.
Programmes follow the national legislation and regulations but have local
adaptations in the organization of courses and modules as well as theoretical
and methodological approaches, developed by academic staff and in cooperation
with local and regional stakeholders. ECTS is implemented in all
degrees.
International students at graduate / bachelor
level
All degrees are offered in Danish only. Taking a full degree at UCC
therefore requires a high command of Danish (or Swedish or Norwegian at mother
tongue level). However, all bachelor programmes are engaged in international
activities and mobility thus offering possibilities for study visits and / or
practice placements. Some educational programmes offer courses in English for
incoming exchange students, others offer participation in regular courses and
modules. And all bachelor programmes can help organize practice placement or
clinical placements.
Incoming mobility is coordinated at the respective
educational programmes and locations. Hence, all initial contact should be
directed to the local international coordinator. UCC offers assistance to find
housing, but cannot garantuee.
Post-graduate activities
professional development
UCC provides a wide variety of professional
development possibilities within fields such as educational leadership, literacy
development, youth education and supervision, mathematics teaching, special
needs / inclusive education, and social education. The possibilities
include:

Consultancy services
All ordinary degrees and courses are offered in
Danish only and require a high command of Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. However,
it might be possible to organize degrees, courses or consultancy services in
English or other major languages. Please contact IR & CICED for further
information. Professional development is a fee based activity. |
